Artist's Comments
So I decided to post something different from my usual. This would definitely fall along the crafty side but they were just so cute so I had to post.
These necklaces are made out of polymer clay and then were painted with acrylics and sculpey glaze. It was my first time using polymer clay and I decided to make necklaces for me and my sister. She's the Peanut Butter to my Jelly =] I made them because I was reading up on these two artists Bharti Kher (you should totally check out her work man!) and Oliver Herring and they both did such cool sculptures and that somehow made me start looking into polymer clay and that led to me and my sister looking up cute jewelry pictures and making them out of polymer clay! So that's how I spent my day instead of studying or doing other things that could've been equally productive. |
