Today's bowling match was ok. I wish I was more consistent though. I bowled a 178 and then a 117 the next =/. My avg so far is prolly in the 140's still which sucks. We still won though and our pinfall was like over 300 more than the other team.

Still in Ronnie Day land.

Finished reading Woman at Point Zero. idk why but I really liked it. So intense man I couldn't keep the book down towards the end.

Finished my sculpture at like 2 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Stecker seemed to like it. I think what she liked the most was the new approach. There are things I don't like about it but there always will be. I have a feeling that my head will keep coming off no matter how many times I try to fix it because I messed up in the construction.

Madre is coming home tonight =].

Still gotta finish my reflection piece. OH damnnn. It's a love hate relationship man.

I wish I had more time man. This week and weekend will be so busy with work and what not. Geez, now all the books I reserve at the library decide to come in. I have like 4 juicy books I can't wait to dig into but I can't cuz of the the shiznitz I gotta do.

Euro is confusing but I'm making slow progress.

Yea, I <3 Women at Point Zero. Usually I read some of the book we are assigned and get bored of it and decide to read SparkNotes (*cough*Dillard*cough*), but this one was really good. :)

hellz yea. It's cruel, empowering, depressing, disturbing, and harsh all at the same time. Either way it's very memorable.

lol did the fact that it was a feminist book bother you at all? Guy and Kevin kept mentioning that fact and it drove some of us crazy today. lol

i dont see why they're getting all worked up over it being a feminist book... :\

maybe because i've seen the documentary "Forbidden Lie$" which presents the story "Forbidden Love" as being a very similar story...

but it was a very good book :)
:iconnagemnoodle:
Oo was that on tv or something? Is Forbidden Love a book?

yea, i think i saw it on Starz, or maybe it was HBO... yea, Forbidden Love (known as Honor Lost in the US) has a similar story of abuse of a woman in the middle east. it's based in Jordan, and is a "creative nonfiction" as well, although the author wont admit it (that's what the movie was about: all of the inconsistencies to the real world locations and people in Jordan ie. places mentioned in the book dont exist and the woman in the book was never put on the hospital's list of people who died there)
:iconnagemnoodle:
oo another potential book to add to my ever growing list of books to read. lol
